tate flyer idea

the 3d design students at school are doing this thing at the tate and asked us yesterday if we'd do the flyers. just been doing this in my sketchbook thinking of ideas and that. definitely cannot draw ferris wheels so i might have another think but here is it. got until thursday to figure it all out so should be pretty chill. 

stuart white did this drawing. its nice. 

no new drawings or anything just yet but went down to the japanese embassy today (see here if you're not aware of what's going on at the minute; http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2008/jan/17/whaling.conservation ) so might do some drawings of boards or whales to keep me occupied. and i bought a nice blue pen today.

but, to tide you over, here is the website of Stuart White, who came to talk to us today. he is and was wicked. i thought i recognised some of his work but it wasn't until later i realised he's one of the contributors to Cafe Royal #1 which is sitting behind me right now. so check him out, really nice stuff and really refreshing way of approaching stuff.

right, had to set up this blog for school but should be a good way of keeping coursework and personal drawings and bits together in one place. unfortunately all my latest project is still up in the studio at uni so instead i've just put up the latest page from my sketchbook. hopefully post more stuff as and when i do it. should be a few times each week, at least thats the plan.
