Rolling Sea #1

Was asked by course-mates Joe Kessler and Tom Pearson to contribute to the first edition of their print set/riso business, Rolling Sea. 25 different illustrators each submitted a colour print which they then printed on their risograph and compiled in this super nice package. here are some pictures of the inside, and my contribution. did this zine too, collecting my drawings about Nestor Makhno and the black army into a narrative. I did about ten or so with colour covers on brown card for the London Zine Symposium, and have just done a bunch more like this, rugged and diy. if you want one they are £1, just email me: deadtreesanddye@hotmail.com.

did this last night in a poky little room in vacated halls up at the university of westminster. nestor makhno meets alexander berkman in paris around 1927.

family time

here's me bringing back the creepy/awkward look in full effect infront of my work at the degree show. oh no you missed it? no worries, it'll all be in SAVE OUR SOULS (@ the nicolls & clarke building 8th of july-13th july), so come along plz. these are 4 of my makhno final drawings, part of a set of 8, also available in my zine i did on the proj aswell.

weird weekend

i got a book made with Lulu, the online publishing website thing that has all the images from my pictures folder, so stuff i've downloaded, photos i've taken or been sent, etc. it's basically a visual journal from the past 5 or 6 years and is weird to look at but im glad i have it.






also at the weekend as part of the Tattoo Circus prisoner-benefit in camberwell, me and my 3 rad housemates all got little memento's of our time together. a simplistic tatt of the front of our house. bound now forever!
